Fat Whacker vs The Dude Video Podcast

This video podcast features a match from Cornchip Christmas: Greg The Dude vs. Fat Whacker. Waldo Corniford provides play-by-play, and Paul Schiavone does color commentary.

This was featured previously on the last WeBleed4Real audio podcast, but this is the complete video. As you can tell, the video 'action' does not exactly do justice to the superb commentary.

I was too lazy to get an audio podcast out this week. Maybe next time, but enjoy this for now.

In other news, WWE.com is saying that Christian has quit. If Mr. Jay Reso is at all interested in joining the WB4R team, he is always welcome.

On an unrelated note, I guess the Eagles are learning that you can't pull a victory out of your ass EVERY week. Let's hope they get their act together with some upcoming pivotal NFC East division games.

We almost broke 100 'readers' according to our Feedburner stats this past week. Keep subscribing fans!

Happy Birthday to Mrs. Spoonman!

Wow...what a finish!

So living here in Oklahoma isn't the most ideal situation for an Eagles fan. I get home this afternoon, and turn on CBS hoping to get Eagles vs. Chargers, but nope. We get Steelers vs. Bengals. Such is life without DirectTV or Cable or whatever.

That's why I just went to do work on the computer and just keep tabs on the game through ESPN's GameCast. The Eagles were trailing but had the ball with some minutes to spare. I looked at the scoreboard and the Steelers/Bengals game was a final, so I went back to the tube and WOO HOO...bonus Eagles coverage on CBS!

Eagles looked in trouble. 4th and 1 and McNabb....passes?!? Incomplete?!? MOTHERF*CKER!!!!!!

Why do you pass with only 1 yard to go? Surely Westbrook can pick up that yard? That should have been the bonehead play of the year.

Chargers come back and get some decent yardage. Well within field goal range. Here comes Chargers kicker, Nate Kaeding. CBS is nice enough to splash across the screen to remind fans that he has not missed a kick this whole year. Eagles fans head for the exit. I'm ready to turn the TV off as well...

The kick is up.....and it's BLOCKED?!? Matt Ware picks it up! He...GOES...ALL...THE...WAY...TOUCHDOWNNNNN!!!!!

How often does that happen?!? Apparently according to Eagles team history, it never has...'til today.

Can you feel it? It's destiny calling. The race for the NFC East looks like it's going to be a wild and fun ride.

We'll be back to wrestling next time.

P.S. - Oh yeah, the Cowboys lost today, so F' YOU, SLABBY!!!

New Milestone!

Woo hoo...according to feedburner.com, your WB4R podcast has reached its highest numbers to date at 72! To tell you the truth, I'm not exactly sure what that means. Does that mean 72 subscribers or 72 people who just were passing by and thought, "What the fuck are these guys doing?!?"

Either way, we appreciate the dozens.....AND DOZENS....of you WB4R fans out there. As you can see, we have quite a ways to go before toppling the current iTunes Music Store Podcast champ, Tiki Bar TV. Of course, we didn't get a plug at Steve Jobs's speech last week and get all the publicity on the Apple website, so give us a break!

Speaking of iTunes, according to this pie chart (heh...i said pie...), looks like 43 of you accessed us through iTunes. So we'll try to keep the 'quality' content coming out. If you have a special request for a certain match or segment that you'd like featured in our next video podcast, send us an email or leave us a comment.

SkullMaster vs Dude VIDEO v.2

This is version 2 of SkullMaster vs. The Dude. I'm experimenting with video file formats. This is exported from iMovie/Quicktime Pro using the new "Export to iPod" option.

Here are differences I noticed from the Quicktime H.264 version of the same movie:

1. It sized it to 320 x 213 instead of 320 x 240.
2. The file size came out to 20 MB, where the first version was just under 10 MB
3. The data rate was 680.75 kbits/sec compared to 337.17 kbits/sec, so that was likely a factor in the difference in file size.
4. The video quality is better likely because of the data rate
5. Apparently this .m4v file extension's default application opens up iTunes automatically and copies to your iTunes Library. I don't think you can play it within your browser like the other Quicktime formats, which isn't cool to me.

Let your podcast host know which file format you like better, as we try to figure out what works best for loyal viewers.

SkullMaster vs The Dude VIDEO Podcast

This is the first-ever video podcast of a full-length wrestling match featuring the WWF champion Skullmaster taking on Greg The Dude in a tournament to determine the Undisputed NJHC/WWF champion. This comes from the NJHC Season Finale.

The Ivy Leaguer is also featured giving medical advice to The Dude during the pre-match segment. Also of note is the "Blair Witch Project"-style camera work.

This is a Quicktime movie with the H.264 video codec. And yes, it is compatible with the new video iPods!

It is highly recommended that you view video podcasts through iTunes 6 and have Quicktime Player 7 installed.

iTunes 6 can be downloaded for free here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download

Quicktime 7 can be downloaded for free here: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download

We also talk about the 'firing' of that bastard Jim Ross from RAW and the release of the new video iPod and what this means to WeBleed4Real Podcast fans.

NJHC, coming soon to your iPod!

Yes, if you're one of the lucky WeBleed4Real Podcast fans to get a hold of one of the new iPods with video, then you will soon be able to WATCH podcasts of your favorite NJHC/WWF matches in the palm of your hands wherever you go!

I know Spoonman was in the market to buy a new iPod. And with his compulsive spending habits, you know he's going to run to the local Apple retail store next week and pick up one or two.

Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, yesterday mentioned that you can purchase episodes of 'Lost' and 'Desperate Housewives' for $1.99 from the iTunes Music Store. He neglected that the music store will be also featuring matches from NJHC/WWF pay-per-views that can be downloaded for FREE! Insiders say that Jobs intentionally did not mention the WeBleed4Real Podcasts so as not to hurt sales for the Disney/ABC TV shows.

"So when is the next WB4R podcast?", fans have been wondering. Your host is working on editing the first audio podcast of a full-length NJHC/WWF match. Stay tuned...or should i say stay iTuned?

Other news this week includes the 'firing' of good ol' J.R., Jim Ross. No wonder he was in such a lousy mood when we tried to interview him for our last WB4R podcast. We wish him good riddance if this is true that he will no longer be announcer. We were sick of hearing him and seeing his ugly crooked Okie ass-face. Bring in Joey Styles, or Paul Schiavone. Ahh...how great it would have been if Waldo Corniford was the RAW play-by-play guy. We miss you, Marcus. We'll pay some more tribute to you in the upcoming weeks.
